The Caretaker - Grale/Seres notes

I have decided that my MC, Seres, is going to be from a planet called Grale which is like Pluto distance from a soon-to-be a supernova sun. Grale is covered in ice with water at the very bottom. It's enough to live in, so you get these bioluminescent lifeforms which feed the seaweed and other plant life. The planet has sentient creatures, who are giant worms that communicate using radio frequencies.

Now Seres is not a giant worm and is something more similar to human. He was born on the planet because his parents were on a long-term scientific study to experiment on the amount of magical radiation (I need a better name) that permeated the planet. The locals can use this radiation, but they don't because they have no need for it and it dramatically shortens their lifespan since they're highly sensitive to it.

Seres is also highly sensitive to it bc of where he was born. He also had an organ implanted that allows him to communicate with the locals using their frequencies, so he doesn't like talking out loud much and always talks loudly bc he's not used to it.
