I can barely breathe.
This compression in my chest,
stifles me.
The tide came in
and washed me out
with it.
I can't describe it.
This big, something,
wrapping it's tendrils
around my heart.
Breathe in
and the block's there
like an iron band.
Breathe out
and it hurts,
a sharp pain
dulling to an ache.
We would have had forever,
but you left
and now the world's
too bright and too dull
all at once.
And it fades all too quickly.
