Song: Sail
Length 4:25
Word Count: 125
Seres stood in the center of the room, drawing a large, chalk circle on the floor. The area around the circle was filled with geometric runes spiraling inward from the door. Wolf walked in, careful not the smudge them and leaned over Seres’s shoulder.
“What are you trying to summon?”
“The remnants of my soul. There’s still some out there.”
Wolf inspected the runes. There were many, squeezed next to each other, separated by only a thin, blue line. “Blue chalk?”
“I didn’t have white,” Seres replied, closing the circle. “It doesn’t matter. That’s just tradition….it should work. As far as I know, Hiram didn’t bind them somewhere. They’re still in the multiverse, probably causing chaos.”
Wolf laughed. “Bits of your soul wouldn’t do that. You’re too nice.”
